Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply when you use this website, send an enquiry or book a physiotherapy session with us.

Last updated: 2 September 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. Using the site does not by itself create a clinician–patient relationship; that begins only when you attend an assessment and we agree to treat you.

2. The website is not medical advice

The content on this website — including service descriptions, articles, exercise references and frequently asked questions — is general information for the public. It is not a diagnosis, a treatment plan or personalised medical advice, and it must not be used as a substitute for an individual assessment by a qualified professional. Do not begin or stop any treatment or exercise on the basis of this website alone.

In a medical emergency, contact your nearest hospital or emergency service immediately. Do not use this website or its forms to report an emergency.

3. Enquiries and appointments

  • Submitting a form is a request, not a confirmed appointment. An appointment exists only once our team has confirmed the date, time and location with you.
  • Please give accurate contact details and a realistic description of your condition so that we can plan appropriately.
  • Appointment availability, including home visits, depends on location, schedule and clinical suitability.

4. Cancellations and rescheduling

If you cannot attend, please tell us as early as possible so the slot can be offered to another patient. Our current cancellation and rescheduling terms — including any charge for a missed home visit — are [to be completed by the practice] and will be explained to you when your appointment is confirmed.

5. Home physiotherapy visits

For home sessions, the patient or family agrees to provide:

  • safe, reasonable access to the premises at the agreed time;
  • a clear, adequately lit space, and a firm bed or surface where the patient can lie down;
  • the presence of a family member or attender where the patient needs assistance;
  • accurate information about the patient's medical condition, medication and any infection risk;
  • an environment free of harassment, intoxication or threat to the physiotherapist.

Our physiotherapist may end or decline a session if the environment is unsafe, if the patient's condition requires urgent medical attention, or if treatment would be clinically inappropriate.

6. Fees and payment

Consultation, session and home-visit charges are [to be completed by the practice] and will be confirmed before treatment begins. Home visit charges may vary with distance and the duration of the session.

7. Patient responsibilities

Physiotherapy depends heavily on what happens between sessions. You agree to disclose relevant medical information, follow the agreed programme as far as you reasonably can, and tell us promptly about new symptoms, increased pain or any change in your condition or medication.

8. Treatment outcomes

Physiotherapy outcomes differ from person to person and depend on diagnosis, duration of the problem, age, general health and adherence to the programme. We do not guarantee a specific result, a recovery timeline, or a complete or permanent resolution of any condition. Any figures, examples or patient stories on this website are illustrative and are not a promise of similar results.

9. Intellectual property

The text, design, logo, illustrations and code of this website belong to CarePlus Physiotherapy or its licensors. You may view, download and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish, resell or copy substantial parts of the site without our written permission.

10. Third-party links and services

This site links to third-party services such as map providers and messaging platforms. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or terms.

11. Availability and accuracy

We try to keep the website accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or up to date at all times. We may change or remove content without notice.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CarePlus Physiotherapy is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, or from reliance on general information published on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability arising from professional negligence in the treatment we actually provide.

13. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute relating to this website or our services is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Ernakulam, Kerala.
